Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh, 29 April 2021: Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Andhra Pradesh, an Institute of Eminence (IoE) under Govt of India-Private Category, has released notification for VIT Research Admission July 2021 for Admission to PhD progarmmes. In VIT-AP campus only Internal Full Time [IFT] category is offered.
Research Fellowship Benefits: All Internal Full-Time scholars admitted into PhD programme will get a fellowship of Rs.20,000/- per month for three years.
All Internal Full-Time scholars who have a valid GATE score percentile of 80 and above will get a fellowship ofRs.25,000/- per month.
Apart from this, scholars are encouraged to apply for JRF (CSIR / UGC) / Inspire Fellowships / Rajiv Gandhi Scholarships (minority community and backward community).
Key Dates: The closing date for submission of online application is 14 May 2021. Last date for Uploading of Certificates (qualifying degree mark list PG for PhD and UG (BE/B.Tech) only for Integrated Ph.D.) is 14 May 2021.
Date of Online Interview – 29 and 30 May 2021.

Eligibility Conditions:
For PhD in Sciences:
Master’s degree in the relevant discipline of Science with a first class or a minimum of 60% marks/CGPA 6.5 on a 10 point scale in cases where the University/ Institute does not award any class.
For PhD in Languages:
Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA.
For PhD in Management:
Master in Business Administration/CA/ICWA with a first class or a minimum of 60% marks/CGPA 6.5 on a 10 point scale in cases where the University/Institute does not award any class.
For PhD in Law:
Master’s Degree in law (LLM/ML) from any recognized University/Institute, in the relevant field with a minimum of 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA.
