New Delhi, 15 November 2021: In India, there are more than 50 Central Universities.In these universities students from anywhere in India can apply as CUs controlled by Government of India.
As on 14 November 2021, there are two Central Universities which have opened admission for PhD programmes for 2021-22. The total number of PhD seats in these two CUs are 365.

Himachal Pradesh, 14 November 2021: Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP), a Central University, has released PhD Admission Notification for Academic Year 2021-22. The university will conduct Entrance Test.
Total Number PhD Seats: The total number of vacant seats are 166 in 26 departments.
Key Dates: The closing date for submission of application is 19 November 2021.

Central University of Haryana Announces PhD Admission 2021-22 for 166 Seats in 25 Departments
Mahendragarh, 12 November 2021: Central University of Haryana (CUH), a Central University, has released PhD Admission Notification for Academic Year 2020-21. The university will conduct Entrance Test soon.
Total Number PhD Seats: The total number of vacant seats are 166 in 25 departments.
Key Dates:
The last date of Online Application including Payment of Fee (If applicable) is 29 November 2021.
All applicants will be required to pay a Non-Refundable fee of Rs. 1000/- plus transaction charges and taxes as applicable (Except those belonging to SC/ST/PwD/ Women categories).
The date for the Entrance Examination will be notified in due course of time on the University Website.
