Warangal, 21 February 2022: National Institute Technology (NIT) Warangal, an Institute of National Importance, has announced Recruitment of Faculty Posts. These posts are available at the following: Professors, Associate Professors, and Assistant Professors Grade I & II (Levels: Pay Level – 11, 12).
Total Number of Posts: The total number of posts are 99: Assistant Professors- 20, Associate Professors- 50; Professors- 29.
Key Dates: Date of opening of online applications is 21 February 2022 and last date of submission of online applications is 17 March 2022.
The cutoff date for determining eligibility of candidates is the closing date for receipt of application forms (i.e. 17 March 2022).
Application Fees: Non-refundable Processing Fee of Rs.1000/- for General, OBC and EWS candidates, and Rs. 500/- for the SC/ST/PWD should be paid online through the application portal by Net Banking/Credit/Debit Card as per the details given in the payment link.
Eligibility Conditions:
The Essential Minimum Academic Qualification for Posts of Professor / Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor is PhD in respective discipline and shall have First Class (at least 6.5 CGPA on a scale of 10 or equivalent or 60% aggregate) in the preceding Degrees. Candidates having PhD degree directly after BTech are also eligible and they should have obtained First Class at Bachelor’s level.
Detailed educational qualifications, experience and other criteria for selection shall be as per the Schedule “E” of the Statutes of NIT Warangal (Ref. Gazette of India No.651 dated July 24, 2017,) The CEI (Reservation in Teachers‟ Cadre) Act, 2019 and clarifications received from MHRD vide F. No. 33-9/2011-TS.III dated 16th April, 2019 in the recruitment rules for faculty of NITs.
