Mumbai, 17 March 2022: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, an Institute of National Importance, has announced MTech, PhD Admission for Autumn Semester 2022-23. Regular PhD students will be eligible for Research Assistantship (RA) and Teaching Assistantship (TA) [Financial support as per MHRD norm].
The Following Programmes are available for admission:
PhD, MTech, MTech+ PhD (Dual Degree), MScPhD (Dual Degree) (Energy), Master in Public Policy (MPP), MS by Research (CS & CMInDs), MA+Ph.D (Dual Degree) in Philosophy in the Department of Humanities & Social Sciences and Master of Arts by Research (MA.Res.) for the Academic Year 202223 starting from July 2022.

Research Assistantship (RA): A candidate, selected for the Ph.D. Programme, at IIT Bombay will be eligible for the financial support under the RA category subject to the fulfilment of criteria.
The assistantship is payable for a maximum duration of 5 years or up to the thesis submission, whichever is earlier. The monthly rate of assistantship is Rs. 35,000/ for the first 2 years and enhanced rate of Rs. 39,000/ for the remaining period.
