According to the UGC existing norms, candidates who qualify National Eligibility Test or State Eligibility Test (SET) are eligible to apply for the post of assistant professor. Candidates who have PhD degree in accordance with UGC regulations will be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.
As on 15 May 2022, Five State universities and One State Public Service Commissions have opened faculty recruitment window. The total number of posts are 780 posts in these state universities and State PSC. Out of these 780 posts, 655 posts are for Assistant Professors.
