Amethi, 15 May 2022: Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT), Jais, Amethi, an Institute of National Importance, is an autonomous institution established by the Government of India. RGIPT has announced Admission to MTech and PhD progarmmes for 2022-23 (Odd Semester) for its Amethi and Bangalore campuses.
The Institute at Jais, which has two Engineering; that is, Department of Petroleum Engineering and Geological Sciences, and Department of Chemical Engineering and Engineering Sciences, a Department of Sciences and Humanities and a Department of Management Studies, offers Postgraduate (M Tech and Ph D) programmes.
The Bangalore Energy Institute, Bengaluru Centre offers M Tech and Ph D programmes in various engineering disciplines.
Total Number of Seats for for Full Time Regular Programmes: MTech -95 seats and PhD 34 seats.
Financial Assistance: Financial assistance in the form of Institute Assistantships is available to the students admitted to M Tech programme under Full Time regular registration category. Presently the Assistantships @ Rs 12,400/- per month (for GATE qualified) is available. The non-GATE candidates, if metsre) admitted in the M Tech programmes at the Bengaluru PG centre will be provided with an Institute Assistantship of Rs. 8,000/- per month. A student shall be assigned duties up to eight hours per week by the Departments to avail the Teaching Assistantship.
Financial assistance in the form of Institute Assistantships is available to the students admitted to Ph D programmes under Full Time regular registration category. Such students must have qualified GATE. Presently the Assistantships @ Rs. 31,000/- per month is available to full time students admitted to the Ph D programmes.
