Eligibility Conditions:
For applying for admission to the PhD program at MITADT University in a related subject in the Faculty, applicants fulfilling any of the following criteria shall be treated as eligible:
Candidate having good academic record i.e. has passed X, XII Std, Graduation, Post-Graduation with first division i.e. at least 55% marks or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA). Five percent (5%) relaxation in the required percentage of marks will be given to the students of State of Maharashtra belonging to SC/ST/DTNT/SBC/OBCcategories.
Candidate with exceptional abilities having passed graduation in relevant discipline with 60% of marks in degree examination with at least 15 years professional experience after graduation in the related field, and candidates possessing B.E./B.Tech. Degree and patents/ intellectual property rights registered in their names may also apply. However their eligibility is subject to the approval by the competent authority of MITADT University.
Foreign candidates (applicants) with 50% or equivalent GPA at Master’s degree level.
Senior citizens with Master’s degree may also apply. However, their eligibility is subject to recommendations of the Dean of faculty concerned and final approval by the Vice-chancellor of MIT-ADTUniversity.
Exemption from Appearing Written Entrance Test (PET-20)
The candidate fulfilling at least one of the following conditions will be exempted from Entrance Test:
Qualified in GATE (valid score*)/GPAT(valid score*) / SETAIET= SET/NET/ JRF / SRF examination of the apex bodies such as CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ICMR/DBT and DST Inspire fellowshiponly.
Phil. Degree in a relevant subject obtained from any Recognized University.
