The NSE Smart Lab, a platform for the management students to learn trading in share market in a virtual mode was inaugurated in Assam down town University on 25th June 2022. The Department of Management, under Faculty of commerce and Management, Assam down town University and NSE Academy Mumbai have come together to offer this platform for the management students of the university. This is the first collaboration of NSE Academy with a higher education institute in north east. NSE Smart Lab will provide the practical exposure and knowledge of trading to the students. Honorable Vice Chancellor AdtU, Prof. N C Talukdar and Mr. Ranganathan S, Chief Manager, NSE Academy inaugurated the NSE Smart Lab in the university auditorium. Mr. Vishwajeet Banick, Manager NSE and Mr. Diptendra Roy Chowdhury, Manager, NSE, Mr. Joutishman Dutta, Managing Trustee down town Charity Trust, Prof. Seema Sharma, Dean of the faculty and other senior Professors & Officials of Assam down town University witnessed the inauguration. Dr. Samannoy Baruah, Associate Professor, AdtU acted as the anchor of the meeting and Dr. Bidyut Bikash Das, HoD and Associate Professor delivered the vote of thanks.
