New Delhi: IMT Ghaziabad, India’s premier management school with a distinct focus on innovation, execution and social responsibility, today (22 November 2016) launched an alternate weekend on-campus Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) considering the emerging requirements of the industry professionals who are in the early stage of their careers.
The PGPM has been carefully crafted keeping in mind the young industry professionals who are in the early stage of their careers and wish to pursue a post graduate qualification in business management, without leaving their current job, in order to make the next move in their career progression plan. The delivery of this programme will be through a convenient alternate weekend residential format, spanning 50 alternate weekend contacts. The PGPM has been developed based on the knowledge, skills and attitude (KSA) framework with a strong emphasis on design thinking, strategy, innovation and execution.
The programme curriculum and pedagogy will be an eclectic mix of in-class and hands-on modules, including a Capstone project and a two-week International Immersion at a top partner institute. The new programme aims at developing functional leaders with an innovative mind-set who can execute strategies with speed and precision, thus providing an edge over peers in propelling them to the next orbit in their career. Participants can pursue this programme while working and customise their specialisation based on their career goals, leading to the Post Graduate Diploma in Management Part Time (AICTE Approved and AACSB Accredited).
The eligibility for applying to this programme is a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification in any discipline with a minimum of 3 years of work experience. The selection process will comprise an essay, a profile test, and a personal interview aimed at selecting candidates who exhibit innovative and creative thinking capabilities. Admissions will be on a rolling-basis and the process will commence from the last week of November 2016.
The institute informed that the online applications will open in the last week of November 2016 and will be available at http://www.forms.imt.edu. The application fee is Rs. 2, 000 that includes a secured complementary seat at one of the several Innovation Workshops that will be conducted across 12 Indian cities during December 2016 and January 2017. Attending these workshops would enable the candidates to prepare better for the selection process.
The total programme cost is INR 7,50,000 which includes admission fee, course material fee, residential expenses, and international immersion expenses.
