New Delhi, 25 July 2022: In India there are more than 50 Central Universities. These institutes offer attractive Teaching Assistantship or Institutional Fellowships to PhD scholars.
As on 25 July 2022, there are two Central Universities have announced PhD for 2022.

Nagaland University, a Central University, Opens PhD Admission 2022 for More Than 120 Seats
Lumami, 22 July 2022: Nagaland University, a Central University, has announced Admission to PhD Programmes for Academic Year 2022-23. These PhD Programmes are available at its Kohima Campus, (Meriema), Lumami and Dimapur Campuses.
The total number of PhD Seats are available are more than 120.
The closing date for submission of application for Engineering Subjects are 31 July 2022.
The closing date for submission of application for other subjects (except Engineering Subjects) is 30 August 2022.
Mizoram University, a Central University, Opens Admission for PG & PhD Progarms 2022-23
Aizawl, 14 June 2022: Mizoram University, a Central University, has announced Admission for UG, PG and PhD Courses for 2022-2023.
Key Dates: The closing date for online application is 07 July 2021 5:00pm. (for UG/PG), and 07 August 2022 5:00pm (for PhD).
How to Apply: Applicants must apply through online mode only vide MHRD instruction D.O. No. 61-19/2015-Desk.U. dated 23rd December 2015 by paying application fee of Rs.200/- for General Courses and Rs.700/- (350/- for SC/ST candidates) for Professional Courses which is payable through online payment mode only.
