New Delhi, 10 October 2022: National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), an apex organization for Educational Research, Teacher Training and Development of Curriculum and Instructional material in school education in India, is on the recruitment drive for academic positions.
NCERT invites online applications for filling up following 266 academic positions (Group’A’). These posts are available at the following levels: Assistant Professors, Associate Professors, Professors, Librarian and Assistant Librarian.
The total number of posts are 266: Assistant Professors- 153 posts; Associate Professors – 97; and Professors – 39.
Posts Details: These academic posts are under direct recruitment through interview, for its constituent units all over India. These posts are transferable amongst the constituent units of the Council located at Ajmer, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Mysore, Shillong and Delhi.
Eligibility Conditions: Age, educational qualification, experience and pay scales of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Librarian and Assistant Librarian will be as per the UGC/ NCERT, Govt. of India norms as amended from time to time and in force at the time of closing date of filling-up online application.

Key Dates: The Commencement of Online Registration on NCERT website www.ncert.nic.in has commenced from 08 October 2022.
Last Date of Online Registration and apply online is 28 October 2022 up to 05.00 pm
Application fee : Applicants belonging to UR/OBC/EWS are required to pay a fee of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One thousand only) through online payment mode. No other mode of payment will be accepted.
Women applicants and applicants belonging to SC/ST/PWD are exempted from payment of fee. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
