As on 13 November 2023, there are three Central Universities have announced PhD for 2023-24 Academic Year. The total number of vacant PhD Seats are expected to me more than 1500 seats.

Assam University Announces PhD Admission 2023-24 for More Than 40 Subjects
Silchar, 12 November 2023: Assam University, Silchar, a Central University, has announced PhD Admission for 2022 for Silchar and Diphu Campuses.
Total vacant Seats: The total number of vacant seats in Silchar Campus is 358 while 36 in Diphu Campus.

Central University of South Bihar Announces PhD Admission Jan 2024 for 145 Seats
Gaya, 05 November 2023: Central University of South Bihar (CUSB), a Central University in Bihar, has announced admission to PhD Programmes for AY 2023-24.
Central University of South Bihar invites online application from NET/JRF/GATE/GPAT qualified candidates for admission in following Ph.D. Programmes for Academic Year 2023-24 commencing from 02 January 2024.
Total Vacant PhD Seats: The total vacant seats are 145 in 24 Departments.

University of Allahabad Announces PhD Entrance Test October 2023 for 1148 Seats
Allahabad, 26 October 2023: University of Allahabad, a Central University in Uttar Pradesh, has announced Combined Research Entrance Test (CRET) 2023 for admission to PhD Programmes. These PhD programmes are available in the university main Campus and its 10 Constituent Colleges.
Total Vacant PhD Seats: 51 subjects comprising 1148 seats, out of which 733 seats are in University Departments/Centres and 415 seats in Constituent Colleges of the University of Allahabad.

The Online Registration and Form Submission will start from – 26 October 2023.
The last date of registration is – 15 November 2023.
