Research Areas: Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences,Computational and Data Sciences, Earth Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, Mathematics and Statistics,Physical Sciences and Space Sciences.

IIT Madras PhD Admission2024-25 Sem I: 319 for PhD & 161 Seats for MS with Fellowships
Chennai, 03 March 2024: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, an Institute of National Importance, has opened application window for PhD/Direct PhD/MS (by Research) Admission for July 2024 Semester. Scholars admitted to PhD and MS programmes under Regular scheme are eligible for the following Half-Time Research Assistantship (HTRA).
Total Vacant Seats: The total number of vacant PhD seats with HTRA are 319 while MSC (by Research) seats are 161 for July 2024 session.
