New Delhi, 06 April 2024: In India, there are 32 National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and more than 20 Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs). These premier research and education institutes admit PhD scholars in two sessions. Now Admission for Semester I of 2024-25 session has commenced.
As on 06 April 2024, there are Three NITs and Two IIITDMs have announced PhD Admission for Semester I 2024-25. These institutes offer attractive fellowships, popularly known as Institute Fellowships.

Motilal Nehru NIT Allahabad Opens PhD Admission July 2024 for 153 Seats
Allahabad, 05 April 2024: Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) Allahabad, an Institute of National Importance, has invited applications for PhD Programmes for Odd Semester (July 2024 session). Institute Fellowship benefits are available to Full Time PhD scholars.

NIT Meghalaya Announces PhD Admission July 2024 with Institute Fellowships
Shillong, 29 March 2024: National Institute of Technology (NIT ), Meghalaya, an Institute of National Importance, has announced PhD Admission for Autumn 2024 session. The PhD Programs, in Full-time (FT) and Sponsored Part-time modes, are offered in 08 departments of the institute.

Notification of Shortlisted Candidates for Ph.D Programme – 12 June 2024
Application Fee: General/OBC candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) and for SC/ST candidates, a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred only).
ABV-IIITM Gwalior Opens PhD Admission July 2024 with Institute Fellowships
Gwalior, 29 March 2024: Atal Bihari Vajpayee (ABV)-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management Gwalior (ABV-IIITM), an Institute of National Importance, has announced PhD Admission for July 2024-25.
ABV- IIITM Gwalior invites applications for admission to Full-Time/Part-Time Ph.D. programme in the field of Engineering, Management, and Applied Sciences. The selected candidates shall be entitled for fellowship (except institute project employee) as per GoI norms.
