Bhubaneswar, 18 April 2024: National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar, is an autonomous premier public research institute under Department of Atomic Energy, has announced Admission to PhD Program 2024-25 Summer Session.
Fellowships: ₹37,000/- as Junior Research Fellowship for the first two years, and subsequently ₹42,000/- for a maximum period up to another three years as Senior Research Fellowship, subject to fulfilment of all the academic requirements stipulated by the Institute from time to time.
Students with external fellowship from agencies viz. CSIR, UGC, etc. will be eligible to draw fellowship as per the extant rules of the respective funding agencies. Such students will NOT be considered for NISER/DAE fellowship.

Fellowship
The institute fellowship given by NISER is INR 31,000/- for first two years, which will subsequently be enhanced to INR 35,000/- for remaining three years, subject to the condition that he/she fulfills all the requirements of the Institute that will be stipulated from time to time.
Students with external fellowship from agencies viz. CSIR, UGC etc will be eligible to draw fellowship as per the extant rules of the respective funding agencies.
