New Delhi , 15 August 2024: Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) has announced Centrally Administered Doctoral Fellowships for the Financial Year 2024-25.
Applications are invited for the following Centrally Administered Doctoral Fellowship Schemes of the ICSSR for the Financial Year 2024-25:
- Full-Term Doctoral Fellowship Scheme
- Short-Term Doctoral Fellowship Scheme
- Contingency Grant Scheme
The candidates shall submit an online application on the ICSSR website as per the following schedule:

The ICSSR supports and encourages Ph.D. scholars to pursue their doctoral research in social and human sciences. Doctoral Fellowships shall be awarded to Indian research scholars, who are registered for Ph.D. in UGC recognized Universities / Deemed-to-be-Universities, Institutes of National Importance as defined by MoE / UGC, ICSSR Research Institutes and colleges having approved Ph.D. programme. The Doctoral Fellowships for the Financial Year 2024-25 shall be awarded in the following areas of Social and Human Sciences.
