This is the future of business education—where learning by doing fosters the mindset and skills needed to thrive in an ever-changing, disruptive world.”

Immersive learning experience in Dubai

The first semester, launched in Dubai, embodies Tetr’s philosophy of “learning by doing.” Students will embark on an ambitious project to build a global eCommerce dropshipping business tailored to the Middle Eastern market, with a challenging revenue target of $10,000. This experience is supported by a curriculum that focuses on business planning, digital marketing, e-commerce setup, and financial analysis. However, the emphasis is on practical application, where students are encouraged to innovate, collaborate, and navigate real-world business challenges.

Students will engage directly with Dubai’s dynamic business environment, drawing insights from immersive experiences at iconic locations such as the Gold Souk Market, Dubai Mall Operations and the Museum of the Future. These engagements are designed to deepen their understanding of the local market while providing a culturally enriching backdrop for their entrepreneurial endeavours. The University of Europe will serve as the base camp for this semester, offering a conducive environment for both learning and business experimentation.

A path-breaking global cohort

Tetr’s inaugural cohort is a remarkable group of over 110 students, selected from a highly competitive pool of applicants. With an acceptance rate of just 2.6% and an average SAT score of 1475, the program attracted top talent from around the world, including entrepreneurs, climate activists, influencers, and TEDx speakers. Many of these students chose Tetr over offers from prestigious institutions like Dartmouth, King’s College, Imperial College, and Warwick, drawn by the promise of a groundbreaking educational experience.

The Class of 2028 at Tetr College is a remarkable cohort of global talent, featuring Songheon Kan from the Netherlands, founder of an AI voice recognition startup that secured $100,000 in funding, and a community-building YouTube channel creator; Weronika Leśniak from Poland, an intern at BlackRock; and Jesper Lyst from Denmark, a champion in both Jiu-Jitsu and basketball. Dua Zafar from the UAE, a TEDx speaker and founding partner of the impact-driven startup Alyx Society, Rushil Chawla from India, founder of the SaaS startup Nebula funded by IIT Bombay and Assistant Director for Harvard MUN, and Sharwan, Vice President of his student council, created YouthServe, a social venture promoting community service among youth, stand out. Additionally, Heedong from Vietnam co-founded MIV Ignite, an educational startup focused on teaching entrepreneurship, and Joan Escandell from the USA launched an agency managing small restaurants in Florida. This dynamic group exemplifies the global reach and innovative spirit that define Tetr College.

‘Learning by Doing’ – Supported by a Global Faculty and Mentor Network

Tetr’s program stands out by embracing a philosophy that places “learning by doing” at its core. Over the next four years, students will traverse seven countries—UAE, India, Singapore, Ghana, USA, Brazil, and Europe. Whether launching a hardware product in Singapore, harnessing Silicon Valley’s tech ecosystem, or driving green initiatives in Rio de Janeiro, Tetr students will gain unparalleled global exposure. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to study at prestigious institutions such as IIT in India, SDA Bocconi in Italy, and NUS in Singapore, ensuring that their practical experience is complemented by world-class academic insights.

Their entrepreneurial journey will be guided by a distinguished faculty and mentor network comprising leaders from top universities and industry giants. Students will be mentored by esteemed educators such as Dr. Shad Morris from MIT Sloan, Dr. Viney Sawhney of Harvard University, and Dr. Syon Bhanot from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Industry mentorship will be provided by figures like Manoj Kohli, former CEO of Bharti Airtel and SoftBank, Mr. Faverie Stephane, Executive Group President at Estee Lauder, and Dr. Edward Rogers, former Chief Knowledge Officer at NASA.

Real-world evaluation metrics

At Tetr College of Business, traditional grading systems have been replaced by an innovative evaluation approach that mirrors real-world business success to reflect the realities of entrepreneurship. Every semester, students will be evaluated based on key performance indicators (KPIs) of their ventures, including revenue growth, customer base, customer acquisition cost (CAC), customer lifetime value (LTV), annual recurring revenue (ARR), and market penetration. The focus is on practical achievements, with evaluations measuring outcomes such as Profit & Loss, growth metrics, and the scalability and sustainability of their business models. This approach aims to ensure that students are mentally prepared for the entrepreneurial world’s ups and downs.
