New Delhi:   The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) has declared the results of CSIR-NET exam held on 18 December 2017.  The list of qualified candidates in the various disciplines and various categories has been uploaded on the official website of CSIR NET: http://csirhrdg.res.in/ .

CSIR has also published minimum cut-off percentage for the award of fellowship/lectureship in different disciplines in the Joint CSIR-UGC test for Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Lectureship held on 18 December 2016.  The minimum cut-offs have been uploaded on the official website of CSIR NET: http://csirhrdg.res.in/ .  The various Cut Offs are released in the following g five subjects:  (i) Life Sciences, (ii) Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, (iii) Mathematical Sciences (iv) Chemical Sciences (v) Physical Sciences.

CSIR informed that the date of declaration of result is 23 March 2017. The Fellowship will be effective from 01 July 2017.

Ranks are allotted first to all successful candidates qualifying for Junior Research Fellowship as per the merit list of JRF and then the candidates are distributed between CSIR and UGC in the ratio of number of fellowships shared between these two for each subject except Bachelor’s degree holder’s who are allocated to CSIR. Certificates to the eligible candidates shall be issued only after verifying their eligibility conditions in respect of their qualification and age as per the notification, caste certificate as per Govt. of India guidelines, etc.

CSIR test aims at selecting candidates for awarding Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) NET and for determining eligibility for appointment of Lecturers (NET) in the subject areas falling under the faculty of Science & Technology.
