Bhopal: Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal (IISER) Bhopal has invited applications from eligible candidates for PhD programmes for the semester commencing from January 2018. All selected candidates will be eligible to receive JRF fellowship as per the funding agency norms.
The PhD programmes are available in the following subjects: Biological Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, Humanities and Social Sciences (Economics and English), and Physics.
Key Dates: Last date for submission of online application for Department of Biological Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science and Humanities and Social Sciences (Economics and English) is 15 October 2017.
Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences and Physics is29 October 2017.
Age: Preferably not more than 28 years. Age relaxation of 3 years will be given for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) and 5 years for SC/ST/PD/Female applicants.
Upper age limit shall be determined as on last date of online submission of applications. Date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation/ Secondary Examination Certificate/Aadhar Card only will be accepted by the IISER Bhopal for determining the age.
