Koraput, Odisha: Central University of Odisha (CUO) is going to join with Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) Consortium to conduct its entrance examination 2020. CUO has announced Admission for Academic Year 2020-21. Applicant can apply only through online.
For Academic Year 2020-21, Central University of Odisha (CUO) invites applications for 30 Programmes:
02 UG programmes: BCA, and B.Ed
12 PG programmes Programms in: 5 year Integrated M.Sc. in Mathematics; MA nProgrammes in Economics, English, Hindi, Journalism and Mass Communication, Odia, Sanskrit, and Sociology; MSc Programmes in Anthropology, Biodiversity and Conservation of Natural Resources, and Statistics; MBA.
08 M.Phil. programmes: Anthropology, Biodiversity and Conservation of Natural Resources, Economics, Education, Journalism & Mass Communication, Odia, Sociology , and Statistics.
08 Ph.D. programmes: Anthropology, Biodiversity and Conservation of Natural Resources, Economics, Education, Journalism & Mass Communication, Odia, Sociology , and Statistics.
Key Dates & CUCET 2020: The CUCET 2020 will commence from 16 March 2020 on the official website. CUCET conducts examination in 112 cities of the country. In Odisha, there will be 13 such centres.
CUCET will be took place in two phases: First Phase for all UG and PG programmes, tentatively in 23-24 May 2020, and research programmes, tentatively in 30-31 May 2020.
Application Fees: Application fee is Rs. 800/ for GEN, OBC and EWS applicants; Rs 350 for for SC and ST applicants and No application fee for PwD applicants.
One candidate can fill more than one application and in each application one can fill for up to 3 institutes.
CUCET is a national level examination which is regulated by fifteen central universities, four state universities, and one NIT jointly. It is a combined entrance test organized for providing admission into various UG, PG & other courses offered by the central universities across India. Applying once, student can get opportunities to choose to appear in entrance examination for any course offered by any university. To provide students a wider platform for vast exposure, CUO planned to join in this consortium. Through this platform, CUO will maintain its national character by inviting from across the nation.
