New Delhi, 09 March 2019: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), a Mega University with highest student enrolment in the world, has notified admission notification for PhD/MPhil programmes (Regular Mode) July 2019 session. For the upcoming session, PhD programmes are available in 19 subjects and MPhil courses are available in four subjects.
Key Dates: Online Application Forms for MPhil/PhD entrance test are available from 07 March 2019 for the July, 2019 session. The last date of submitting Application Forms is 25 March 2019.
Entrance Test is on 07 April 2019.
PhD Admission Subjects: Bio-Chemistry, Chemistry, Commerce, English Education, Environmental Science, Fine Arts, Gender and Development Studies, Geology, Hindi, Journalism and Mass Communication, Management, Music, Rural Development, Social Work, Statistics, Translation Studies, Women Studies
MPhil Admission Subjects: Chemistry, Commerce, Journalism and Mass Communication, Translation Studies .
IGNOU informed that these programmes are being launched in strict compliance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of PhD /MPhil degrees) Regulations, 2016.
