New Delhi, 13 March 2020: The results of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2020 have been declared today 13 March 2020. The results have been declared at the official website of GATE 2020. http://gate.iitd.ac.in
Earlier, IIT Delhi, the organizating Institite of GATE 2020, has scheduled to release results on Monday, 16 March 2020. However, the results were declared by IIT Delhi ahead of the schedule. The fate of 6.85 Lakh candidates is now unlocked.
The results are available at the GATE2020 official website. Also candidates can log on the GATE2020 Application portal and access their results.

IIT Delhi, the organizing institute of GATE 2020, informed that more than 8.58 lakh candidates registered Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2020 Exam. A total of 6.85 Lakh, 79.76% of registered candidates, appeared in eight sessions at 566 centres across 199 cities.
GATE 2020 examination was conducted successfully and smoothly on February 1, 2, 8 & 9 across India and the international centers at Dubai, Singapore, Ethiopia, Nepal and Dhaka.
With GATE Score, the candidates will be able to apply for MTech Admission at all 23 IITs and IISc Bangalore via Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) 2020. COAP provides a common platform for the registered candidates to make the most preferred choice for an admission into an M.Tech. Programme in the participating Institutes or job offers from participating PSU’s.
Fellowships under Ministry of HRD are offered on the basis of GATE Score for MTech and PhD programmes in IITs.
Also some IITs offer PhD programs on the basis of GATE Score.
