Bangalore: Joint Admission Tests for Masters (JAM) 2021 will be held on 14 February 2021. The application window will open for registration from 10 September 2020. The closing date for submission of application is 15 October 2020.

Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM) is being conducted from 2004 to provide admissions to MSc (Four Semesters), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., MSc-PhD Dual Degree, etc. Programmes at the IITs and Integrated PhD Degree Programmes at IISc for consolidating Science as a career option for bright students.
A new paper Economics (EN) is added from JAM 2021 onwards. JAM 2021 will be held in the following papers: Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry(CY), Mathematics (MA), Physics (PH), Mathematical Statistics (MS), Geology (GG), and Economics (EN).
JAM score will be used for admission to MSc (Two Years), Matsers in Economics (Two Years), Joint MSc-PhD, MSc-PhD Dual Degree, MSc-MS (Research), PhD Dual Degree and other Post Bachelor Degree programmes at IITs. JAM score will be used for admission to Integrated PhD programmes in IISc Bangalore. JAM score will be used by other centrally funded technical institutions such as NITs, IIEST Shivapur, SLIET Punjab, and IISERs for admission to their programmes.
