Imphal: National Institute of Technology (NIT) Manipur, an Institute of National Importance, has released PhD Admission for August 2020.
Category (All the categories are only for self financed except where indicated) The Institute admits PhD students under the following Categories:
- Regular
- Sponsored (Full Time)
- Self-sponsored (Full Time)
- Part-time
- Project Staff *
- External
* JRF – External funded projects
Key Dates: The last date for receipt of Soft/hard copy of Application form is 22 July 2020. The date of PhD examination will be announced by respective departments.
Selection Procedure: The mode of recruitment will be done online.
Syllabus for The Entrance Examination: The syllabus for the entrance examination will be the GATE syllabus of the concerned discipline or syllabus prescribed by the concerned departments.
Stipend / Financial Assistance: Assistantship to the regular students (NET/GATE or equivalent) as per MHRD rules may be given subject to availability of fund. The candidate with no NET/GATE will be in self sponsored category.
