New Delhi: Amid COVID 19 pandemic,  South Asian University (SAU), an international university established by the eight member nations of South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (SAARC), has extended application submission portal and reschedules the Entrance Test for Admission for Academic Year 2020-21.

The university offers post-graduate and doctoral programmes in various disciplines that include Economics, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Mathematics, Sociology, International Relations and Law. It will ultimately have 11 post-graduate faculties and a faculty of undergraduate studies.

Key Dates:

The closing date for submission of online application has been extended to 30 June 2020.

The Entrance Test was to be held on 28-29 March 2020, which is now postponed and will be held coming days. SAU will inform the schedule on right time regarding exam dates.

About the University: South Asian University (SAU), an international university established by the eight member nations of South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (SAARC): viz. Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. SAU started its operations from the academic year 2010. It will ultimately have 11 post-graduate faculties and a faculty of undergraduate studies. SAU attracts students from all member nations and its degrees are recognized by all the eight SAARC countries.

The University currently functions from its Akbar Bhawan campus in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. It will eventually move to its 100-acre campus in Maidan Garhi, South Delhi soon.

The University will conduct Entrance Test major cities across SAARC countries for Admission to its various programmes.
