New Delhi:  The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) , a multi-campus public funded research university in Mumbai, announces Admission to the 2020-22 batch for it’s Full-Time (Regular) Post-Graduate Degree Programmes (M.A., M. Sc., M.H.A., M.P.H., LAW) offered from Mumbai, Tuljapur, Guwahati, Hyderabad campuses and other centres locations like Chennai and Nagaland.

The total numbers seats are 1615 across 52 PG Degree Programmes.

TISS offers 52 Master’s Degree programmes from its Mumbai, Tuljapur, Guwahati and Hyderabad campuses and other locations for the 2020-2022 batch. Candidates can apply for a maximum of three programmes across any of the two campuses indicating the order of preference. The merit list will be prepared based on the preferences given by the candidate in the application form.

Key Dates: The online admission portal has opened from 18 October 2019. The online admission portal will remain close on  25 November 2019. Last Date for receipt of application form by post 03 December  2019.

Mumbai, Tuljapur, Guwahati and Hyderabad campuses have independent high quality faculty engaged in teaching, research, policy and outreach activities. The Tuljapur, Guwahati and Hyderabad campuses are networked with Mumbai campus to access library, online books and journals and classes. All campuses have unified campus placement policy and placement process.

TISS Admission Nation Test:  National Entrance Test will take place at 40 different cities/towns across the country.  Pre Interview Test (PIT) and Personal Interview (PI)  for programmes offered at  Mumbai,  BALM, Chennai will be conducted at the Mumbai Campus . For programmes offered at Tuljapur, Hyderabad and Guwahati Campuses, the PIT/PI will be conducted at the respective campuses. Candidates applying for programmes at more than one campus, will have to travel to these places for PIT/PI. Except for the eligible candidates from the SC/ST categories all others will bear the cost of travel, lodging and boarding for attending the NET, as well as PIT/PI.

National Entrance Test (TISS-NET)  is computer based. It will be held on January 04, 2020 from 2 pm to 3.40 pm in 40 Cities (below mentioned) in different parts of the country.
