New Delhi, 04 August 2020:  The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has today (04 August 2020) declared Results of Civil Services Examination – 2019.

A total number of 829 candidates have been recommended for appointment as various posts: Indian Administrative Service; Indian Foreign Service; Indian Police Service; and Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’.  Further, the commission has also released a List of 66 candidates whose recommendation is provisional.

Pradeep Singh emerges as the Topper in the CSE 2019. Jatin Kishore secures second position while Pratibha Verma gets third spot in the Exam.

In accordance with Rule 16 (4) & (5) of the Civil Services Examination Rules 2019, the Commission has also declared a consolidated Reserve List of 182 candidates.

The list of successful candidates is available on the official website of UPSC: https://www.upsc.gov.in/

Based on the result of the written part of Civil Services Examination, 2019 held by the UPSC and the interviews for Personality Test held in February-August, 2020, the commission has declared the list.

The Government of India has notified 927 vacant posts. The successful merit list candidates will be appointed for these posts as per the Rules of the Examination.
