New Delhi, 04 August 2020: There are nearly 950 universities in India. These universities offer attractive career opportunities for aspirants with respect to teaching and research.
There are more than 30 such govt. universities including state universities and private universities which have opened faculty recruitment window. These institutes include IITs, Central Universities, and premier private universities.
These universities include four IITs, four Central Universities, some private universities, some state universities. IIT Delhi, IIT Roorkee, IIT Bombay, and IIT Kanpur are recruiting faculty posts.
National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is recruiting 266 academic positions including 142 Assistant Professors. The closing date for submission of application is extended to 17 August 2020. The last date of application in Central University of Odisha (CUO) is extended to 17 August 2020.
There some universities recruiting faculty posts mainly Guest Faculty and Assistant Professors (on a Contract basis), through Walk In Interview mode.
