Mumbai, 03 August 2021: There are 20 Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), which enjoy the tag of Institutes of National Importance. Common Admission Test (CAT) is as a prerequisite for admission to various management programmes of IIMs. These programmes are: Post Graduate Programmes in Management (PGP) and Fellow Programmes in Management (FPM) [Doctoral] including Executive PhD.
The doctoral level program for Working Professionals leading to PhD is known as Executive PhD or Executive FPM (Fellow Program in Management). Out of twenty IIMs, five will offer Executive PhD Programs for Academic Year 2022-23.
List of IIMs offering Executive PhD for Working Professionals:
IIM Kozhikode – PhD (Part Time)
IIM Raipur-Executive FPM
IIM Ranchi – Executive PhD
IIM Sambalpur –Executive PhD
IIM Tiruchirappalli – Executive PhD
An Individual with more than 05 to 10 years experience with other requirements can apply for these programmes.
These IIMs consider valid scores of GMAT, GRE, CAT, GATE or JRF (NET) for admission to PhD (WP) program. Valid score need to be entered while filling the application form.

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad, the organizing Institute for Common Admission Test CAT 2021, has already announced the test.
The CAT 2021 Test will be held on 28 November 2021 (Sunday). CAT 2021 Exam will be held in three sessions. Registration of application for CAT 2021will open from 4 August to 15 September 2021.
These five IIMs are expected to commence Admission Process for Executive PhD or FPM for 2022 from October 2021 by opening their application portal.
