Mumbai: Internshala, the internship and training platform,  has announced the launch of ‘Mumbai-Kar Internships’, an Online Summer Internship Fair specifically for Mumbai students. With an aim to help students find internships in the ‘City of Dreams’, Internshala has launched this initiative.

Over 400+ companies including corporate giants – Godrej, Videocon, Tata Steels, the popular start-ups like OYO Rooms, Fassos, and Teach for India, and Smile Foundation from the non-profit segment are hiring interns. These leading brands are offering over 3,200 internships for students interested in Sales, Marketing, Content Writing, Fashion, Engineering, Product Management, Design, Volunteering, Human Resources, and Finance.

Students think that finding a summer internship is tough and to land on with a leading brand, tougher. Through this initiative, Internshala aims to take internships closer to students in Mumbai. A meaningful summer internship can help students learn life skills, solve real-world problems and hone technical skills. It is an opportunity for college students to work with a leading brand and earn a handsome stipend as well.

On the launch of the ‘Mumbai-Kar Internships’, Sarvesh Agrawal, the founder & CEO, of Internshala said, “We are building a culture of internships across India and through this initiative, we aim to take internships closer to Mumbai students. An internship would give them a great platform to launch their career and give them a holistic development.”

Internshala’s Mumbai-Kar Internships campaign will remain active from 22 May till 31 May 2017.
