New Delhi: The results of UGC NET Jan 2017 examination were declared today. The results are available on the official website of UGC NET (http://cbsenet.nic.in/cms/public/home.aspx) and http://cbseresults.nic.in/ .
How to check results: Candidates should click on the section CBSE -UGC NET Jan 2017 Results uploaded on the following websites: http://cbsenet.nic.in/cms/public/home.aspx) and http://cbseresults.nic.in/ . After entering Application Number, Roll Number and Enter Date of Birth, candidates will be get to know their results status.
Now, candidates can check their qualification status and cut off marks of various subjects.
The UGC NET examination was conducted successfully on 22 January 2017 for approximately 7.94 lakh registered candidates. The exam was conducted in 90 cities at 1421 exam centres. The candidates appeared in three papers where paper-I of General Awareness was common for all and paper-II and III were conducted out of 84 subjects selected by the candidates. The CBSE has used the Digi Scoring process for UGC NET exam.
UGC NET test is conducted to select eligible candidates for awarding Junior Research Fellowship. Further, for candidates plan to pursue career in lectureship/ Assistant Professor in colleges and universities, they have to clear UGC NET.
