Mysuru, 27 February 2025: The National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Mysuru, (An Autonomous Institution under Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi), has announced recruitment of faculty posts. These posts are available at the following levels: Assistant Professors, Associate Professors, and Professors.
Faculty positions are available in the Department of Civil Engg., Electrical & Electronics Engg., Electronics &
Communication Engg., Computer Science & Engg., Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics0
Key Dates: The closing date for submission of application is 05 March 2025.
Assistant Professor:
Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech/B.Sc and ME/M.Tech/M.Sc in the relevant discipline with first
class or equivalent in BE/B.Tech/B.Sc and ME/M.Tech/M.Sc.
Associate Professor:
Educational Qualification: As above that of Assistant Professor with Ph.D. in the relevant
discipline.
Experience: Minimum teaching/research/industry of 5 years of experience in teaching/ research/
industry out of which atleast 2 years should be post Ph.D.
Other Requirements: At least 6 journal publications in SCI/WoS/Scopus indexed journals.
Professor:
Educational Qualification: As above that of Assistant Professor with Ph.D. in the relevant
discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of teaching/research/industrial experience, out of which at least 3
years should be at the level of Associate Professor.
Other Requirements: At least 10 journal publications in SCI/WoS/Scopus indexed journals at the level of Associate Professor
