Guwahati : Assam down town University (AdtU) and Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute (BBC), Guwahati have recently entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for academic and research collaboration. The sign-in ceremony was organised at the conference hall of BBCI, where officials from AdtU and BBCI discussed about areas of synergies which can be facilitated under the purview of the collaboration.

Vice Chancellor of AdtU Dr. NC Talukdar and Deputy Registrar (Academics) Nitul Jyoti Das represented the University at the sign-in ceremony.

The MoU aims to create a framework for a platform of collaboration between AdtU and BBCI to make joint effort to conduct research, training and consultancy in areas of health in India and abroad, informed the authorities. Plans are also to develop new experimental/research facilities in both institutes through mutual cooperation.

There shall also be exchange of PG students in Health and Allied Health Sciences for clinical exposure.
