New Delhi : Harappa Education, India’s pioneering online learning institution, has launched the second phase of their digital initiative Habit Heroes to celebrate Teachers’ Day. Through this initiative, Harappa will recognize and honor pioneering educators who have embraced change and made a spirited shift to teaching online.
Few things have been as disrupted as schools and colleges due to the pandemic. Over the past few months, lockdowns across the world have forced millions of students and teachers to adapt to new learning formats. Even as the world starts opening up, it is certain that online education will continue to be the new normal for most students and teachers.
In the first phase of Habit Heroes, Harappa recognized and honored 10 Habit Heroes for their courage, collaboration and initiatives of civic engagement, in the wake of the lockdown through March to May in India..
Following the success of the inaugural edition, the second phase puts the spotlight on teachers who have had to learn to navigate the daunting challenge of moving to a new way of being—teaching and supporting their students online.
Harappa will select 5 inspirational Habit Heroes on the basis of the video submissions. The winners will get exciting rewards and benefits:
- Recognition & Visibility
Special video and blog to share the winner’s inspirational story with the world
- Lifelong Learning
Complimentary access to all Harappa courses

20 promo codes for the winner’s friends and families to purchase Harappa courses at a 20% discount
Shreyasi Singh, Founder & CEO, Harappa Education said, “At Harappa, we’re so grateful to our expert faculty; and teachers across schools and colleges, who help students learn, grow and realize their potential. This Teachers’ Day is even more special, given how much teachers have had to take on. The intensity with which they have had to adapt and embrace change has awed and humbled us. With this initiative, we want to thank teachers across the country for their contribution to our lives, today and always.”
If you know a teacher who’s embraced online with gusto or want to thank a teacher who has supported their students through this difficult time, nominations are open until Sunday, September 20, 2020. To apply visit: https://harappa.education/habit-heroes
