New Delhi : Harappa Education, India’s pioneering online learning institution, has won the Golden Award at Pallikkutam National Award for Startups in Education 2020. The award has been instituted by Rajagiri Media in association with Kerala Startup Mission to recognize disruptive and frugal innovations in education that can revamp the sector.
The first-ever Pallikkutam National Award for ‘Startups in Education’ was announced via a Zoom ceremony on Saturday, September 5, 2020. Eighty-nine education startups from 14 states across India participated in the first edition of the award.
Dr. Saji Gopinath, CEO of Kerala Startup Mission in his keynote address pointed out that Edtech start-ups in India have taken education to the next stage of growth and development especially during the COVID-19 outbreak. The government is supportive of start-ups in the education sector, he further stated.
