The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is set to launch an initiative ‘ Digital Skilling’ program. The educational program ‘ Digital Skilling ‘ will be launched by Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of Education on 6th June 2022.
Shri Pradhan said, “Given the high IQ and manpower talent galore in India, this program for the education sector is to connect the right applicants with skill trainers and various courses providing expertise on emerging technologies. It includes artificial intelligence, blockchain, big data, cloud computing etc. Under ‘ AatmaNirbhar Bharat Mission’ India will be at par with the leading technologies in the world, giving impetus to innovations and skills under the New Education Policy.”
AICTE also comes up with internship opportunities for students from class 7th to graduation through the program ‘Digital Skilling ‘. Under this program, from class 7th onwards, internship opportunities will be given to the children in the technical field.
Dr. Anil Sahasrabudhe’s, Chairman, AICTE, said, “The ‘Digital Skilling’ program will also work to bridge the gap between students and industrial companies. The target of AICTE is that the entrepreneurs should be trained. It is clear from this that this program will come in handy to teach the youth of the country the ABCs of upcoming futuristic technologies. ”

To achieve the target it has started to hone its technical skills for the same. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is playing a big role in this.

This is for the first time collaboration on a national scale AICTE has started such an initiative between apex ministries of Ministry of Education, Ministry of Skill and affiliated NSDCs, Skill India programs. More than 100+ technology corporate /manufacturing firms have already come on board on this platform to provide free of cost emerging technology certifications to meet the demand by diverse industries and help India fulfil the dream of our honourable PM Modiji Atma Nirbhar Bharat initiative .”
Artificial Intelligence, Block Chain, Data Analytics, Cyber Security and many more relevant fields. Giants like Nasscom, Amazon, Microsoft, Amazon Web Services (AWS) & AWS Networking Partners, Bharat Block Chain Network – IDS Software Embibe, Google – Smart Bridge, Primus Partners Private Limited, Eduskills, GitHub and several others have collaborated in this initiative.
As provided by the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation (MOSPI), the data suggest that the GDP from manufacturing would increase to Rs. 5914.75 billion in the fourth quarter of 2021. 5867.75 billion in the third quarter of 2021. Now, it is necessary to take some new initiatives which will be helpful for the young generation to get jobs in the technical knowledge market. In order to make the opportunities useful for technical students in this direction, AICTE has already taken several steps.
India is a hub for tech-minded people as well as companies in Bengaluru and Hyderabad which are popularly known as start-up destinations. Now through the latest initiative of AICTE, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is gearing up to create job recruiters and skill trainers in every nook and corner of the country. In which the central government of the country is also participating very actively.
