Ahmedabad : Forum for Industry Interaction (FII), IIM Ahmedabad and Haskayne School of Business (University of Calgary) have come together for the Global Graduate Business Challenge – an international case-solving competition for aspiring consultants. The case challenge, organized in collaboration with a global oil and gas firm working with sustainable energy-related start-ups, gives the participants a platform to solve and present strategic solutions to a modern-day business problem.
Being a one-of-a-kind global event, this competition will see students from eminent business schools worldwide, including Darden School of Business, Harvard Business School, Haskayne School of Business and HEC Paris competing with the top Indian B-schools like IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, and ISB. According to Akansha Kashyap, the FII Coordinator, “This competition aims to foster networking among the students of B-schools worldwide, while also giving them an opportunity to interact and learn from corporate leaders while solving a real-life strategy case.”
The first round of the two-round competition will require teams of 3-4 students to submit a one-page executive summary of their solution to the case. The top teams from this round would then present their solutions to a jury comprising industry and academia experts in the finals. Prize money of INR 1.2 lakh/ CAD 2,100 awaits the winner of this prestigious global challenge.
