New Delhi: Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi  emerges among Top 50 in Computer Science institutes in Asia. As per the Computer Science Rankings also known as CSRankings, IIIT-Delhi currently holds 7th overall Rank in India (On the basis of publications from 2008-2020). Our overall rank in Asia is 44 and global rank is 243.

In India, Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore grabs a place among Top 100 computer science (CS) institutions around the world.  IISc is crowned as the Best CS Institute in India with global rank of 89th, as per Latest CSRankings: Computer Science Rankings.

Another five institutes from India find among Top 200 in the globe. These are IIT Bombay (112 Global rank), IIT Delhi (120), IIT Kanpur (130), IIT Madras (157), IIIT Hyderabad (193).

Computer Science is one of the most prominent academic disciplines in the world.

As per CS subfields, in India, IIIT-Delhi is ranked:

1 in Human-Computer Interaction

8 in Artificial Intelligence

4 in Robotics

6 in Systems

10 in Theory

3 in other Interdisciplinary Areas
