IIM Ranchi successfully completed a 5-day Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (MMTTP); the initiative concluded with a valedictory ceremony where Prof. Deepak Kumar Srivastava, Director of IIM Ranchi, graced the event along with Prof. Tanushree Dutta, Dean – Academics, IIM Ranchi.
Prof. Srivastava talked about the impact of this initiative and emphasized three crucial areas: managing finances in educational institutions, planning for long-term growth, and understanding the legal aspects of governance. Throughout the program, participants and faculty identified key challenges in educational leadership. They stressed the need for practical case studies and useful materials, highlighting an overload of less relevant content.
A notable outcome was the plan to create detailed case studies tackling educational issues, marking a significant move towards practical educational solutions at IIM Ranchi. Participants also suggested more focus on project and crisis management, deeper research, and a handbook of case studies. They stressed the importance of including social aspects and field visits for hands-on learning.
In his closing speech, Prof. Srivastava thanked participants nationwide for their active involvement and valuable insights. The closing ceremony honored participants from various regions, celebrating their contributions to the program’s success. Looking forward, IIM Ranchi aims to continue its leadership in educational research and development, seeking partnerships for further progress.
