CHENNAI: IITM Pravartak Technologies Foundation is collaborating with SRIT, a leading ICT Solutions and Systems Integration Services Provider, to drive adoption of ‘ShaktiDB’, India’s sovereign and indigenously-engineered enterprise database platform.
This is an initiative undertaken with funding from the Ministry of Electronics and IT, Government of India and executed jointly by Pravartak, IIT Madras and CDAC organisations.
Through this partnership, SRIT will leverage its strong domain presence and implementation capabilities to enable large-scale adoption of ShaktiDB across database-intensive environments. The collaboration aims to address growing enterprise and Government demand for secure, sovereign, and future-ready database infrastructure.
By combining SRIT’s implementation excellence with IITM Pravartak’s technology leadership, the partnership is poised to strengthen India’s digital infrastructure ecosystem and accelerate the transition toward trusted, indigenous data platforms.
