Mumbai, India, 24th April: In today’s dynamic and tumultuous environment, the corporate world offers unparalleled opportunities for many. As India’s economy liberalizes, it creates opportunities and disruption for companies. Companies in India today are looking for new market opportunities within India and globally. Research has shown that today’s companies experience high levels of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity and hyper-connectivity. To control this disruption, and develop entrepreneurial leaders for tomorrow, Imbiber, a specialized educational services company, based in Mumbai, India, is working with Babson Executive Education, located outside Boston, USA and have devised an entrepreneurial program to help Indian corporates scale and globalize their businesses.

Imbiber’s Jash Panchamia (Partner) recognizes that entrepreneurial leaders change the dynamics of competition through innovation and digital transformation. Jash says, “As Indian companies are undergoing transformation from being domestic to next generation of multinationals competing on a global scale, they are realizing the need for reskilling their executives to manage and adapt to these challenges. Babson has been recognized as a leading institution which has trained many leaders over the years from different countries that have gone through a similar transformation as India. We are pleased to be working with such a prestigious institution.”

The program will be available to all private corporations in India and some of the major focus areas covered by the program will be innovation and experimentation, continuous improvement, mobile and digital business models and intrapreneurial and entrepreneurial leadership. The program will exclusively be headed by Babson’s Professor Jay Rao, who has extensive experience in delivering to many global multinationals along with NASA and the U.S. Navy.  Professor Rao adds, “This program is customized for leaders in established firms, who will benefit highly from my action-oriented and practical pedagogical techniques of simulations, analysis and discussions based on real life cases and multimedia presentations.”

Prof. Rao currently teaches extensively in Babson Executive Education programs and specializes in areas of innovation, implementation and corporate entrepreneurship.

The registration for the program will be rigorous and all applications will undergo a review by the selection committee ensuring all the criteria for the program are met.
