Vadodara: The second convocation of IIIT Vadodara was held on 9th November 2019. Six M.Tech and 95 B.Tech graduates were awarded their degree.
Professor Kasturi Lal Chopra, Padma Shri was the Chief Guest. He blessed the graduates and gave tips for the professional life ahead. Padma Shri Nalini Ranjan Mohanty the Guest of Honour and Padma Bhushan Ms Chanda Kochhar, Chairperson Board of Governors also graced the occasion.
Ms Mehak Piplani was awarded with Chairperson’s Gold Medal for Academic Excellence in B.Tech programmes. She was also awarded with Medal for Academic Excellence: Rank – 1 (B.Tech – Computer Science and Engineering). Medal for Academic Excellence: Rank – 2 (B.Tech – Computer Science and Engineering) was awarded to Shri Shubham Kumar Verma.
Medal for Academic Excellence: Rank – 1 and Rank-2 (B.Tech – Information Technology) were awarded to Shri Shahrukh Bari and Shri Tarun Bhardwaj respectively. Medal for Academic Excellence: Rank – 1 for M.Tech Programme in Computer Science and Engineering was awarded to Shri Jayant Mahawar.
The Director Prof. Sarat K. Patra presented the Convocation Address and Institute Report highlighting the achievement of the Institute of last one year and awarded degrees to all the graduates. He congratulated all the graduates and thanked all dignitaries who took time to grace the occasion.
