KIIT World School celebrated its fourth annual sports day with great fervour. The auspicious occasion was graced by Capt. Indu Boken Kasana, DEO of Gurugram. B.R Kamrah, Chairman of KIIT World School and Neelima Kamrah, Principal of KIIT World School were also presented with other staff members.
The students took part in a wide range of exciting and uplifting sporting events, such as the band performance, the March Past, track contests, yoga, Kathputli dance, Bhangra, and various races like reindeer, clutching the ball, and Crossing the Rings. Robotics, science, and the art stalls were also arranged at the event. The exhibits featured a variety of models, related to robotics, science, zero-waste management, handloom Virasat, pots and pans, smart homes, mathematics, and psychology.
A variety of game stations, including Santa’s Challenge, Snake and Ladder, Poke a Tree, Finding the Magical Keys, Pirate and the Treasure Ball, and Santa Golf, were also set up during Sports Carnival. Headmistress Rashmi Srivastav presented the school’s yearly report.
Neelima Kamrah, Principal of KIIT World School, said, “Sport helps children become more sociable and builds their feeling of teamwork. It supports their growth in both physical and mental toughness, making it an essential component of education.” She praised the involvement of students and applauded them for their impressive performance and march past.
The event concluded with the certificate and medal distribution ceremony by Capt. Indu Boken Kasana.
