New Delhi: On the auspicious day of Guru Purnima (27 July 2018), the Ministry of Human Resource Development is organizing a National Conference of Vice Chancellors & Directors of Higher Education Institutions of India. The theme of the Conference is Research & Innovation in Higher Education.

The Conference will start on the 26 July, followed by the main event on the 27th July and culminate on 28th July, 2018. All Vice Chancellors of Central Universities, State Public Universities, Deemed to be Universities, State Private Universities, Directors of Central Institutes, such as IITs, IISc., IIMs, IISERs, IIITs, NITs and other central institutions are expected to participate in the Conference to be held in Hotel Ashoka and AICTE, Nelson Mandela Marg, New Delhi.

As Research & Innovation is the key to revolutionising the higher education scenario, the Ministry is organizing a three-day Conference for Vice Chancellors of all Universities and Directors of CFTIs from 26-28 July, 2018. Over the next one year, research & innovation will make significant gains in the higher education space so as to promote excellence in our institutions.
