Mumbai: Wockhardt Foundation has announced Mr Milind Kher, a trainer and NLP specialist, as the winner of Education Activist of the Year 2017. Wockhardt Foundation mentioned that Mr Kher, based in Mumbai, is able to reach his message to many people on account of his extensive network. He has also done pioneering work in the field of NLP and Emotional Intelligence, developing many innovative applications.

Dr S Srinivasan, Chief Learning Officer, Wockhardt Foundation, said “Mr Kher has worked very diligently to serve the cause of Learning and Development. He has contributed significantly to online repositories as well as very extensively shared his knowledge online, bringing quality knowledge within easy access of all. He has been the anchor for many Learning and Development events and been an anchor at different platforms.”

Wockhardt Foundation is a national, not-for-profit organization engaged in social service and human welfare activities. Mobile 1000, its flagship programme, aims at operating 1000 Mobile Health Vans in rural India and administering free primary healthcare to 25 million Indians every year. As of date, there are 91 Mobile 1000 Vans operating in 18 states administering free primary healthcare to more than 2 million Indians in rural & remote parts of India.

Skills Development Institute, SHUDHU water purification tablets, Swachh Bharat Recycle Machine, Adarsh Gram Yojana and various other initiatives have made significant impact and it continues to expand its social coverage in areas where the need is the most.
