New Delhi: Zee Institute of Creative Art (ZICA) is inviting mass media graduates with attractive diploma programs in Animation, Visual Effects (VFX), and Graphic and Web Design at their Noida campus. ZICA is the India’s first full-fledged Classical and Digital Animation Training Academy that trains youth in classical 2D and modern 3D animation.

Over the last 17 years, ZICA has grown to become a novel institution that has nurtured a vast group of talented alumni. With a state-of-the-art infrastructure, the training provided to its students is practical and focused on creating a stimulating environment around them. ZICA also gives major priority to the principles of art and design as well as the basics of animation and computer based digital animation. With two schools i.e. ZICA – School of Animation and VFX and ZICA – School of Design already in smooth operation offering a plethora of creative courses, ZICA has emerged as a hub for students to channel their blue-sky thinking professionally.

The Noida campus is also home to ZIMA, a renowned sister concern of ZICA. ZIMA is a twelve-year-old entity of Zee Media that extensively offers courses in TV, Print and Digital Journalism. The duration of the courses ranges between 3 to 12 months with an additional 3-month internship programme with the Zee Media Group. To further encourage the students, the group also offers education loans to aspirants who wish to make a career in the field of Journalism.

Mr. Praveen Gadelli, Business Lead at Zee Learn Limited – Essel Group said, “ZICA is home to passionate students across the country who aim to be dignified professionals in the creative industry. The institute promulgates artistic and aesthetic skills whereby students receive abundant creative exposure with a blend of theory and practical sessions as part of its coursework. It has over 30 campuses in 15 major cities all over India and has become the preferred choice for students like its fellow media institute i.e. ZIMA, which has observed a growing trend in students pursuing mass communication related courses. Through ZIMA, we are extremely happy to be able to provide a platform to these aspiring and ambitious students. Our first batch of 30 students has successfully completed these courses and the intake for the second batch will commence from January 2019. The maximum intake has been from Delhi, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Ludhiana and Gurgaon and we expect the numbers to rise for the next term.”
