Yangon, Myanmar, Jun 15, 2018: National Taipei University of Business is pleased to announce that the recently-published Graduate Employability Ranking 2018 recognizes our graduates with a degree in business or management for their excellent employability by ranking the school first in the finance and economics as well as business management categories. The school has stayed on top of the ranking for the finance category four years in a row, testifying to the school’s success in nurturing talent in line with the industry requirements. NTUB therefore earns the reputation as the “cradle of the best finance- and management-related recruits.”
Overseas Chinese student recruitment has been a primary focus of the government education policies in Taiwan. NTUB actively participates in overseas education fairs and offers overseas Chinese programs. The interaction between Taiwan and Southeast Asian countries in matters related to economy, trade and investment has increased as a result of Taiwan’s government initiative, New Southbound Policy. In that vein, NTUB has set up offshore programs operated in Southeast Asian countries to facilitate further collaboration in higher education. NTUB aspires to introduce its outstanding vocational training traditions to other countries and engages in academic exchange.
The NTUB College of Business is committed to facilitate internationalization of post-secondary education, academic exchange, export of post-secondary education programs and international competitiveness. To achieve these aims, the College establishes the Executive Master of International Business Management as an offshore degree program in Myanmar to prepare the students’ roles in realizing government policy goals in the regional economy and helping the development of the enterprises’ international ventures. The program assembles faculty members with PhD degrees, industry experience and reputation for teaching excellence to personally deliver instruction in Myanmar. The courses will take on a case study approach, under which students analyze and discuss different cases to identify solutions for issues encountered in daily business operations. The overseas Taiwanese community members and business owners will benefit greatly from the program, as it also builds up the necessary network to strengthen industry-academia collaboration and create international internship opportunities for students.
NTUB has established the ASEAN Management Research Center as well as credit programs in the study of Southeast Asian business. The programs will combine the resources from the New Southbound Policy and the school’s existing advantages in business education, with future interdisciplinary and inter-school industry-academia collaboration in the works, to train employable students specializing in ASEAN business administration.
NTUB has established sister-school partnerships in as many as 15 countries as of this date. Students are encouraged to take advantage of the international exchange programs and overseas internships to gain international exposure. NTUB welcomes Myanmar students with open arms and uses the opportunity to turn each student into a highly sought talent in the international market.
