Bangalore, 11 November 2020: Bharat Electronics Limited, a Navartna PSU under Ministry of Defence, is recruiting Trainee and Project Engineers/ Officers on contract basis for its Bangalore Complex.

Total Vacant Posts: The total number of vacant posts are 549 Posts.

Projects Engineers –I – 118 Posts

Project Officer (HR) –I – 05 Posts

Trainee Engineers -`I – 418 Posts

Trainee Officers Finance –I -08 Posts

Project Engineers I for 118 Posts:

Electronics -80

Mechanical -24

Computer Science -06

Electrical -06

Civil -02

Trainee Engineers -`I – 418 Posts:

Electronics -234

Mechanical -137

Computer Science -11

Electrical -10

Civil -02

Environment Engineering -01

Architecture -01

Chemical -02

Educational Qualification:

Projects Engineers –I:

BE/BTech/BSc Engg. From reputed Institute/University /College in the following disciplines: Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science,  Electrical, and Civil.

Trainee Engineers –I:

BE/BTech/BSc/BArch  Engg. From reputed Institute/University /College in the following disciplines: Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electrical, Civil, Architecture, Environmental, and Chemical Engineering.

Candidates applying for the above posts should possess 1st Class for General/OBC/EWS and Pass Class for SC/ST/PWD.

Post Qualification Experience as on 01 October 2020:

Projects Engineers –I:  Candidates should possess minimum Two Years of relevant industrial experience.

Trainee Engineers –I: Candidates should possess minimum Six Months of relevant industrial experience.

Selection Procedure:

Aggregate Marks secured in qualifying degree –  75% Weightage

Relevant Post Qualification experience: 10 % – 2.5 marks will be allocated for minimum experience stipulated for the post. 1.25 marks will be allocated for every completed experience of 6 months subject to a maximum of 10 marks.

Interview: Interview for shortlisted candidates (Video based)  – 15 %

Total: 100 Marks

Candidates will be shortlisted for interviews based on the above criteria (out of 85 marks), in the ratio of 1: 5.

Intimation on conducting video based interviews will be sent via Email ID provided by the candidates.
