New Delhi, 18 December 2022: Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), government-owned power generator under Govt. of India, has announced recruitment of Engineering Graduates as Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) through Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering  (GATE) 2022.

Total Number of Vacant Posts: The total number of vacant posts are 100:

GET(Mech) -27 Posts

GET (Elec) – 45 Posts

GET (Civil) – 09

GET (C&I)-09

GET(IT) -05

GET(Comm) -05

Pay Scale: INR 56,100-1,77,500/- in Pay Matrix Level 10

Valid Marks in the GATE 2022: The candidate should have appeared in the corresponding paper of GATE 2022. The qualifying marks shall be as declared by the GATE 2022 Organising Institute.

The Selection Process consists of marks obtained (out of 100) in the corresponding paper of GATE 2022, Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

Eligible candidates must have appeared in the corresponding paper of GATE 2022, i.e. Mechanical (ME)/ Electrical (EE)/ Civil (CE)/ Instrumentation (IN)/ Electronics & Communication Engineering (EC)/Computer Science and Information Technology (CS).

Key Dates:

Closing date of ONLINE applications shall be 31 December 2022 (Till 23:59 hrs).

Closing date of payment of application fees is 31 December 2022.

Selection Procedure:  

(a) Selection methodology will comprise of initial shortlisting based on valid GATE 2022 marks followed by Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The management reserves the right to add, modify or delete any test, as the case may be, to the selection process.

b) The short-listing of candidates for GD and PI will be done based on the marks obtained by them (Out of 100) in the GATE 2022 examination. Marks of any previous/other GATE examination will not be considered.
