Mumbai: Faculty positions in Universities, Engineering & Technical Institutes and premier Higher Educational Institutes offer attractive and rewarding career options. Last week Union Cabinet has approved revised pay scales of teachers and equivalent academic staff in Universities/Colleges & centrally funded technical institutions.  In another great news for job aspirants, there are more than 25 universities including NITs, IITs, and Central Universities where recruitment window is opening  for  teaching staff.

Out of these higher educational institutes where recruitment for faculty positions are going on,  two are Central Universities, 12 are NITs, two IIMs, three IITs, others. Central University of Rajasthan is hiring 31 faculty posts. The closing date for submission of application is 30 October 2017. Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP) is hiring 90 faculty positions where the closing date for submission of online application is 31 October 2017.

The three IITs where faculty recruitment drive is going are as followed: IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Indore (Special Recruitment Drive for Reserved Category (i.e. OBC, SC and ST  and PWD) and IIT Palakkad.

IIM Nagpur and IIM Shillong have also released official notification for hiring faculty posts.

12 NITs have joined faculty recruitment bandwagon. There are as followed:  NIT Trichy,  NIT  Durgapur, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Delhi, NIT Warangal, NIT Allahabad, NIT Agaratala, NIT Goa,  NIT Andhra Pradesh, NIT Puducherry, NIT Jalandhar, and NIT Jaipur.
